Planning your next holiday is a great way to beat the winter blues and look forward to escaping the nine to five for a while in a new and exciting destination.
New research by World Youth Student and Educational (WYSE) Travel Confederation has looked into people’s holiday habits and found that young travellers’ spending has soared, with nearly 25% of the travel market being young international travellers.
From this same survey, 37% said they would spend more on food and drink experiences, while spending on traditional travel luxuries were less likely, as search terms such as ‘backpacker’ and ‘traveller’ increase.
The research conducted, by online travel agent Florida4Less, also revealed the top places that people get inspiration for their holidays. Research carried out by YouGov shows that 55% of people use social media to keep up with others and to find and share information, while 25% base their next trip on their friends’ photos according to The Leadership Factor.
Following this, Florida4Less has found the ten best travel bloggers to follow for location inspiration when planning your getaway.
